Collaboration and Design Phase

Once we understand your goals, we move into the collaboration and design phase. Together, we’ll finalize:

Our team works closely with you at our Design Center to ensure every detail aligns with your vision, lifestyle, and budget. Once your plans, specifications, and pricing are approved, we move forward with your construction agreement.

Planning and Construction Phase

This is where your dream home truly comes to life. We’ll guide you through important selections, including:

How long does the custom home building process take?

Timelines vary based on home size, design complexity, and site conditions, but most custom homes move through consultation, design, and construction within a schedule we’ll map out together at your consultation. On average, we see a six to nine month timeline.

Do I have to start from scratch, or can I customize an existing floor plan?

Either works. Many clients start with one of our existing floor plans and personalize it, while others prefer a fully custom design built entirely around their vision.

When do I choose my finishes, like flooring and cabinetry?

Finish selections happen during the planning and construction phase, guided by our team and supported by our Design Center, so you can compare options and make confident choices.

Does this process work if I'm building on my own land?

Yes. Our full building process applies whether you’re building in one of our neighborhoods or on land you already own through our Build On Your Lot program.
